Laniel Prodamex is above all a family history. From our start-up in 1959 and throughout three generations, the Laniel family has based the business on service excellence—the pride of the Laniel name. It is without a doubt the reason we have stayed a part of the landscape for so long. As we head into our 50th anniversary year, we are more determined than ever to be the place to go for landscaping products, and to serve you even better with all the advice you need for all your projects.
Our history
Founded in 1959 by Georges Laniel, the company was the first local retailer of soil and stone.
In 1973, André, Lucien, Bernard and Gérard took over the reins of the family company, introducing pioneering initiatives like the sale of railway ties and concrete products like paver slabs and blocks for retaining walls.
In December, 1998, a third generation proudly carried on the company's tradition of excellence, determined to remain the source of choice for landscaping in the West Island of Montreal. The company diversified once again, while retaining their reputation for personalized customer service.
